Final Fantasy is a timeless gaming franchise spawning dozens of releases over the past three decades. An absurd number of spinoffs, film adaptations and sequels have followed after the first Final Fantasy game hit the shelves in 1987. Despite being a vast series, Final Fantasy manages to produce a unique touch in each of its gameplay iterations, which sees the franchise add to its already enormous fan following.
