It’s that time again, new incredible games are available for free with your PlayStation Plus membership. Last month’s selection of BioShock: The Collection and The Sims 4 was seemingly perfect in that it had content for both extreme and casual gamers.

March’s games won’t be quite as out of proportion in genre difference, but they should still cover a wide section of gamers. First up is a classic that everyone interested in games should play through: Shadow of the Colossus. And this is no PS2 port, it’s the version with the full visual overhaul.

For those uninitiated, this game is an incredible piece of art and gameplay all rolled into one. You play a young man who must defeat 16 colossi spread across a forbidden land. It’s an action-puzzler: each colossus requires you to figure out exactly where to hit them so they can be defeated. You run, hide, and even climb on these giants to progress in the fight.

The second game is right on time to coincide with the Sonic the Hedgehog movie: Sonic Forces. While not as well received as Sonic Generations, this game was developed by mostly the same team. We could definitely have gotten a better game this month, but maybe this one isn’t as bad as previous titles in the franchise?

These two games will be available to claim on March 3. Stay tuned to Doctors of Gaming for more updates on game deals and free games!
