First off, to clarify, there is no single cheat code to get fast cash in GTA 5. There is, however, a money glitch which allows you to rake in an endless supply of cash-ola. Be warned, though, that there is some set up involved. However, with a little patience, you will earn yourself as much money as you’re willing to work a bit for. Once the money is safely in your pocket, play through the game normally.

How to Get Infinite Money in GTA 5
Step 1: Choose the two characters you would like to make rich.
Step 2: See the map above (Map A). Drive Character 1 to the first beach marked above on Map A. From there, swim to the sea. Dive down when you reach the marked location and look for the underwater wreck. Retrieve the glowing briefcase close to the airplane on the sea floor. The submerged hidden item here is worth $12,000 each time you pick it up.
**IMPORTANT: as soon as you swim up to an item and are credited with recovering the money, you must IMMEDIATELY switch to the other character and find the item at that same location***
Step 3: Repeat Step 2 with Character 2. The second character can now grab the money that has respawned at that location.
Step 4: See the map below (Map B). Drive Character 1 to the second beach marked below on Map B. From there, swim to the sea. Dive down when you reach the marked location and look for the glowing briefcase, near the open hatch. The submerged hidden item here is worth $25,000 each time you pick it up.
**IMPORTANT: Again, as soon as you swim up to the item and are credited with recovering the money, you must IMMEDIATELY switch to the other character and find the item at that same location***
Step 5: Repeat Step 4 with Character 2. The second character can now grab the money that has respawned at that location.
Step 6: Repeat. You can now switch back and forth between these two characters, repeatedly triggering a respawn of the briefcase and endless cash. Keep going until you generate however much money you want.

Other Good to Know Facts:
- There are actually a dozen or so “Shipwreck Packages” located around Los Santos. They’re located underwater off the coast, typically in locations you can swim too. The two above are two of the easier locations to find. See the location of all shipwreck packages below.
- Do leave the package area or switch characters for too long or the process will be interrupted
- You cannot be pursued by police while performing this cheat (because having a wanted level prohibits you from switching characters).
- When you switch between characters, you will find that your oxygen has been replenishedHappy looting!
